Things Flapjack and Lil' Hoots have in common:
They act and sound exactly alike.
They both have a curl at the top of their head.
They have very similar eyes, and their pupils dilate a lot.
They both have somewhat pointy things coming out diagonally from their head.
That's great.......but this is the dumbest reason to compare characters and you've done a great job embarrassing yourself by pointing out really insignificant charictaristics. I guess this gives me the opportunity to explain myself.
The apprentice/wise master pairing is called an archetype - one that MANY films, cartoons, and games use. The similarities between flapjack and hoots is pretty ironic because I doodled hoots for a class project LONG before flapjack ever aired cartoon network.
Their eyes are not similar....unless you consider round eyes a similarity - one that most cartoons have.

The reason why Hoots and Flapjack sound the same is because I wanted a good voice actor to imitate the characteristic high-pitch little boy voice like Flapjack and used him as an example...so there you have it.
